Social Security Disability Insurance

One important thing that I like most in the States is that when you work, you pay taxes. A portion of these taxes will go into the federal government’s Social Security trust fund. The federal government will use your money from the trust fund to pay you a monthly cash benefit if you have to stop working because of a disability. This cash benefit is known as Social Security Disability Insurance, SSDI.
