I think we all have heard the story of how Mariah Carey made it big. A demo tape of hers landed with an industry bigwig who thought she sounded like an angel singing. Something to that effect. She got signed up and became the diva that she is right now. Not every artist is given the same chance. And there are great ones out there. Greater than the current divas we have.

Thank goodness for OurStage – Discover New Music. This is a web site dedicated to helping emerging artists be known by the public. You and me can join the site and vote for artists we like. We can listen to either Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, or Country music and more. Vote! The artist who emerges as top of the list across all channels will get prizes. As much as $5,000 in prize money is at stake in the monthly music awards the site has.
