When I was still in my college days horse back riding is not that well known kind of sports. You will only see horses when you go to a province like for example in Bukidnon. But now a days specially during special occasions in big cities or places they always have the horse back riding. One can ride horses for a certain amount as payment even without wearing equestrian apparel.
